Okay, guys summer is here and the trends for 2017 are in (for a recap have a look at last weeks blog on the Top Trends for 2017 here). So, as promised, I am going to find out all the best ways to design your interior with these trends in mind. :)
This week I am going to look into Pantone colour of the year: Greenery, and see how it can be incorporated into your home. Now, I totally get that many people reading this will be like ‘’that’s a major colour’’ and may be a bit too scared to use it. However, there are so many ways to use Greenery without it overtaking the whole room which I have explored below. For those of you who are like ‘’omg its bright its fresh give it to me,’’ I have also highlighted ways to use and OVER use the colour while still keeping your space on trend.

Let’s remember that last year was all about neutrals, rose golds, and pastels; so why not mix it up for 2017 and embrace this bright and beautiful colour. Pantone defines Greenery as ‘a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew.’ I love this! I for one am going to step into the summer (sorry missed this for spring) with this revived colour and leave the soft and safe colour choices for 2016 :) ..who’s with me?!
Hope you love the blog!! And please leave a comment below and let me know what you think xx

If you are thinking of re-painting / adding wallpaper or even just enhance your interior with a striking feature wall, I would strongly advise looking into a bit of Greenery in the space. Not only will this give you the summer feeling it will also make the space feel bright and warm (yes warm!) throughout the year.

What better way to welcome people to your home this summer with a big bold splash of Greenery. Give you entrance some major Curb Appeal while also complimented the rest of the garden! You can choose from so many shades of green, but for summer I think bright and bubbly greens work best otherwise a nice soft olive tone is fab!
Suggested Shades to go by:

Little Green, Benjamin Moore and Dulux.

This is a relatively simple way to get a burst of greenery into your home. Having that vibrant colour dropped into your living room or kitchen is sure to vamp it up for summer. If you are not yet ready to take the leap and commit to a whole suite of furniture in the vibrant hue try some quirky dining chairs or a nice accent armchair. You could even re-love and reclaim an old chair with some paint! This, of course, is going to look great all year round but if want something that will look a bit more traditional and classic just go for a darker shade. I have listed my favourite paint to use below.
Reclaim and Relove your existing furniture with Annie Sloan chalk paints.
