Design Talk No. 11 with Camilla Bellord Interiors

Hello Design Lovers and welcome back to another interview with Design Talk. This month I am heading over (virtually) to the little Cotswold village of Great Rissington in the UK to introduce you to the lovely Camilla and Camilla Bellord Interiors.

This little lady is a trained interior designer from KLC School of Design... Ahhh only one of the best design schools in Europe. And her portfolio of works includes showhomes at Kings Chelsea, I must ask her does she know Jamie Lang!!! Although I think I may be the only one still watching MIC, the Grand Park Hotel and just one or two ski chalets in Gstaad!!

Design envy anyone? Yup me too! Soo Camilla has been kind enough to take the time to answer a few design questions for us and give a little insight into her world of Interior Design.

Enjoy xxx

1: So :) Can you tell me a little more about you and what you feel best describes your interior style?

A husband and wife team which prides themselves on delivering timeless interiors, infused with an eclectic elegance.

Camilla trained at the prestigious KLC School of Design in Chelsea, and before setting up Camilla Bellord Interiors, worked at Lifestyles Interiors, part of the exclusive Northacre Property Development Group, Fox Linton Associates in London and Federica Palacios Design in Geneva.

Camilla’s husband Tom, who has over 20 years of commercial marketing and property development experience, joined the team to oversee the management of the business in 2017. He brings a wealth of senior management experience and ‘Best in Class’ client servicing where meticulous attention to detail, exacting standards and the utmost of discretion are paramount.

2: What has been your favourite interior project you worked on and why?

We enjoy all of our projects as they all offer something totally unique, but we did particularly love a recent project in Buckinghamshire. We created a serene and timeless backdrop and infused it with pops of personality; a collection of old school sporting caps, a fabulous nude sculpture from Abigail Ahern, a screen print from Barbara Smith, a Maison des Vacances cowhide flag cushion...
